Yesterday Étoile lost away to algerian side JS Kabylie on the second matchday of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage (a terribly boring 1-0). I don’t think there’s something that really deserves some big ranting, but the team didn’t show enough spirit to win this game.

This Sunday will see Étoile begin a new phase of the CAF Confederation Cup : the group stage, and it’s a good thing to start in our home ground of Sousse. Étoile tried to have the game on Saturday, but CAF refused due to TV rights contracts with ART.

Because it does to me … With Chermiti gone, and Gelson probably off to Saint-Étienne in the next days (they’re offering 850.000€ according to the daily newspaper La Presse), our attacking options seem to be reduced to Emeka Opara and the youngsters who yet have to prove themselves.
